Chasing String

I could write a novel about chasing string. It’s lots of fun, and it never gets old. Plus, its what keeps my thin. I guess the only thing that is more fun is chasing a laser pointer or playing with my shiny fish-toy. Sometimes it ends badly, though (check me out about :35 into this video, for instance).

Anyway, I gotta go see what’s outside the window now.

This is comfortable

In addition to laying on paper, books and inside cardboard boxes, I find that this position is extremely comfortable.

It has the added benefit that it doesn’t allow Ben to use his computer or watch TV. Its my turn to use the computer anyway, I need to run this blog.

I love watching things fall off of other things. Nothing delights me more than knocking things off various tables or night stands. Liz’s earrings? Pushed off the coffee table. Can of fruit? Knocked off the table. Glasses of water on night stands? Pushed right off the edge and onto computers, the floor, books, clothes. It thrills me to no end. I never get tired of it. Its literally my favorite thing to do. I also love to see how upset it makes everyone in the apartment. Liz and Ben always yell about it, but I just think its awesome. And I’m always waiting for it to not fall, you know? Just like pause, mid air. I think that’d be totally freakin cool. So I keep trying for it. We’ll see.

Speaking of my favorite things to do, my second favorite thing to do is to sleep on hard things. Paper, laptops, coffee tables, oooh textbooks are my favorite. There’s something about that spine support that just makes me tingly on the inside. And sometimes, after I’ve gotten totally relaxed and taken a nice nap on the closest newspaper or library book, I’ll just start chewing on it and eat it. Because there is nothing yummier than warmed up paper products. Papers so chewy and crunchy and rough so it just tastes great and goes down smooth. Cardboard boxes, Chris’s old school projects, Liz’s books, it’s even better than wet food (NOT dry food, there is nothing that tastes better than dry food).

Anyways, those are my two favorite things. I think the third might be Bren and Bren’s room. In fact, that might be my number one favorite. Move all the others down a number. I love Bren, I wonder when he’ll be home….

I found a box in the living room!! I think I’m the first one to find it, Brady, Liz and Ben don’t even seem to notice that it’s a BOOOXXX! Hang on, let me check…Nope, they don’t seem to notice. This is perfect, it will be MY new space, just for me! I can see almost the whole living room from here! There’s the window, there’s the coffee table, there’s the couch yup that’s about all of it! What was that? Oh never mind, just a thud. Anyways, this would be the perfect place to clean myself up a little bit. Let me see if anyone’s coming for my box… Nope! All clear! Let the lick-fest commence!

I was hungry this morning at 6am, so I decided to wake Ben up to feed me. He usually doesn’t feel me before 8am, but since he wanted to sleep through til his alarm and not be woken up again, he fed me anyway. Score! I love Ben.

Oh Em Gee!! Liz and Ben had dinner tonight!!! I love when Liz and Ben have dinner at home, their food always smells sooooo good! They brought home food tonight, which is kind of a bummer because when they cook sometimes they’ll drop stuff on the floor. BUT! It smelled really good. I got on top of the toaster so I could see what it was and it was Chinese food! Rice and grease and meat mmmm my favorite. I tried to get them to notice me so they would feed me, so I pawed Ben and walked around and stared at Liz but they didn’t give me any. Then! once they were done, Liz left her plate and I attaaaaacked!! There was rice and sauce and butter and grease and ohhh it was sooo yummy! I don’t know why Brady doesn’t like human food but he doesn’t know what he’s missing!!! Mmm, now I’m full. I love Ben!

Nothing on TV

The owners are watching the Presidential Address. Was there nothing else on tv? Animal Planet? Food Network? Hell, right now I’d take a Scrubs re-run over this! I don’t even know where Afghanistan is! I’d go bother Bren but his door is already closed. Sometimes I wish I had opposable thumbs to open his door and force him to hang out with me. I love his room, it’s so warm and fuzzy in there. And he listens to the best freakin music. So much better than listening to the Presidential Address. Don’t get me wrong though, I’m an Obama supporter all the way. Anyone else who is part black and part white is cool with me.

Hello everyone. My name is Aloysius Snuffalufagus Crooktail, Wish for short. And I’m Brady Grady. Together we are Wish and Brady . Here’s a pic of us.

This is our brand new blog. We don’t have much to do around the apartment during the day, so we thought we’d take up blogging as a hobby. Its hard to type with these paws, but at least we have better grammer than those lolcat assholes. I can have a cheeseburger whenever I want.

We have owners and their names are Ben and Liz (and Bren, he’s Ben’s roommate) (Liz doesn’t actually live with us or own us, but we love her anyways).
